San Giuseppe Cigars was born from a deep-rooted passion for cigars, culture, and family heritage. Founder Joe Bonanno grew up surrounded by the rich aroma of cigars, a tradition passed down by his father, a proud New York cigar smoker with Sicilian roots. In Joe’s family, cigars were a ritual and a way to bring people together.
Joe’s journey into the cigar world was sparked by a chance introduction to the Dominican Republic’s finest tobacco craftsmen. From the very beginning, he knew that if he was going to enter the industry, he had to do it the right way—immersing himself in the culture, forging relationships with master blenders, and respecting the generational artistry behind every cigar.
San Giuseppe, named after the Sicilian patron saint, Saint Joseph, who once saved his people from famine, represents resilience, faith, and the belief that anything is possible.
Since launching in 2021, San Giuseppe has expanded with exclusive collaborations, including partnerships with MLB All-Star José Reyes and golf legend John Daly, pushing the boundaries of what a cigar brand can be.
